About Kunal

Kunal is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience working in both clinical and managerial positions. He had held positions in infant, child and adolescent Mental health in Australia and New Zealand.

Kunal also holds clinical membership of Australian Association of Family Therapy and has expertise in working therapeutically with children and families who present with complex and challenging needs, trauma, attachment and mental health concerns. Kunal is experienced in working collaboratively and systemically with multiple agencies and services that are involved with young people and their families.

Kunal is passionate about child developmental difficulties and interventions that addresses those concerns. He has experience in conducting assessments like Sensory Profile-2, motor assessments and functional capacity assessments.

In his work with parents/ carers, he uses framework of Attachment and joint-play based interventions to guide them to know how to re-kindle the attachment bond and how to develop the emotional, social and physical skill building.

Kunal is available at Tidda Counselling on Monday 10am to 4pm.
