The Benefits of Lego Therapy

The collaborative nature of Lego building encourages positive interactions between parent and child. Working together toward a shared goal helps strengthen emotional connections and mutual understanding.

Families learn to communicate more effectively by discussing strategies, solving problems, and giving each other constructive feedback. These skills can be transferred to everyday conversations and conflict resolution.

Lego therapy requires families to rely on each other, fostering trust. Additionally, working through challenges together helps build patience and teaches both parents and children how to support one another.

Each session presents challenges that require critical thinking, creative solutions, and teamwork. Children and parents alike can enhance their problem-solving abilities in a fun and low-pressure environment.

Engaging in shared activities can help children learn how to regulate their emotions when faced with frustration or difficulty, while parents can model calm and supportive behaviour. This helps both parties manage emotions more effectively in other areas of life.

How Does It Work?

Weekly Sessions

Each session will focus on different themes related to family dynamics, communication, and teamwork. These themes will be explored through Lego® building tasks that require collaboration between the child and parent.

Small Group Format

With only 5 children and 5 parents per group, each family will receive individual attention, ensuring that the activities are meaningful and tailored to their unique needs.

Guided Play

A trained facilitator will guide each session, providing insight, support, and strategies for building stronger relationships and overcoming challenges that may arise during the activities.
